Shattered Horizon s’est mal vendu. En conséquence, deux employés de Futuremark vont pouvoir passer toutes les vacances de Noël en famille grâce à leur nouveau statut de demandeurs d’emploi. Leurs messages d’adieu :
It’s been great working with this game, but as we all know, all good things come to an end. I would like to give a huge THANKS to the community and all fans of Shattered Horizon for the support. You have helped us mould this game to the near perfection that it is today. DON´T PANIC! Now this does not mean that the game is dead, it’s just that there are less people making it. I mean, as you all know the game didn’t sell as well as some other games, and that has it’s effects. Oh well, this is not the end. It’s the beginning. I’m in the same boat as Piit, so I’d also like to thank all of you for the 10 great years at Futuremark! I was there to start the community, and a bit sad to leave it now, but life has to move on. Who knows, maybe I’m back in business some day. – Renqvist
