Ubisoft fait la tête : le patch 1.01 sorti hier pour la version PC de Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 n’était pas officiel (merci Blue’s News) et n’était destiné qu’à un usage interne. C’est sans doute pour ça qu’il était disponible sur le FTP public de l’éditeur…
The BiA updates available on the Ubisoft FTP site (BiA-1.0-1.01-xxx.exe) are NOT intended for public download at this time. These updates are published for final internal testing purposes only. Anyone that downloads this patch now and applies it to a retail game next week will not be able to play online, or receive future updates through the auto update system. To be clear, version 1.01 is NOT a valid version number for Brothers in Arms.
Bref, si vous achetez Brothers in Arms (qui sort jeudi), n’installez pas ce patch ! Le faire pourrait ouvrir une porte vers les enfers et voir du même coup l’arrivée sur Terre du Grand Satan.
