Elixir Studios, développeur du très médiocre (et très en retard) Republic: The Revolution il y a quelques années, annonce son nouveau projet : un MMOFPS nommé Republic Dawn: Chronicles of the Seven. Le jeu sortira en 2007 et est co-développé avec Nicely Crafted Entertainment. Il s'agit en fait d'une suite à Republic: The Revolution (qui n'avait pourtant rien ni d'un MMO, ni d'un FPS).

Le principe du jeu ? Bah, je vais vous recopier le communiqué de presse, j'ai mal à la tête rien qu'à imaginer comment ils vont pouvoir réaliser un projet de ce genre.

Republic Dawn is a vast MMOG first person space game based around an embryonic society devastated by a sudden attack. The players must rebuild the Republic facing tough political, economic and military decisions along the way. During this time a deep story of human struggle will be acted out with the players challenging every decision. [...] Republic Dawn will allow players to dictate the future of mankind. Will they rise up as one in the name of revenge or will they let the already unstable Republic fall?

Voilà. Donc ça sort en 2007 (vu le retard du premier Republic, on peut plutôt parier sur une sortie en 2009) et il y a déjà une page officielle par ici. Si vous êtes déjà fan, vous pouvez même lire le communiqué de presse.
