NutsMammoth nous fait remarquer que 2K Games (Take 2), vient d'annoncer officiellement le développement de Vietcong 2. Le jeu utilisera un nouveau moteur 3D et doit sortir à la fin de l'année. Le communiqué de presse parle aussi de nouveaux modes de jeu multiplayer et contient un screenshot.

Même s'il ne brillait pas par sa réalisation technique, Vietcong proposait une partie multiplayer efficace et une campagne solo très immersive destinée à un public adulte capable d'admettre que les américains se prennent une branlé à la fin du jeu.

Sequel to Critically Acclaimed Shooter to Hit PC Later This Year

New York, NY – April 29, 2005 – 2K Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), today announced Vietcong 2 for the PC, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Vietcong and the expansion pack Vietcong: Fist Alpha.

With its brand new 3D engine, all-new single player campaign and new multiplayer modes, Vietcong 2 aims to improve on the acclaimed gameplay of the first game, while presenting a completely new experience.
