Randy Pitchford, le patron de Gearbox Software, annonce dans les forums de sa boîte que le portage PC de Halo est désormais terminé. Gearbox travaille maintenant sur une démo et sur un patch qui devrait être disponible pour la sortie du jeu en magasins.

Une annonce officielle de passage à la duplication devrait être faite dans les prochains jours, de même qu'une date de sortie. Microsoft a annoncé le jeu pour fin septembre aux États-Unis et pour fin octobre en France.Le message de Randy Pitchford :

Expect an announcement about the release date of Halo PC sometime in the next 1 to 4 days.

gearboxsoftware.com will carry the announcement in the forums, on the main pages and will offer other fun materials related to the announcement.

The "Work Items" remaining ticker was removed because there are no remaining work items for the retail game.

The team is working on a number of other things including a demo and some bonus features to be released as an update on or about launch time.
