UT2003 a commencé à sortir aujourd'hui aux USA... enfin un peu seulement. Je laisse la parole à Mark Rein et sa bande car j'avoue ne pas tout comprendre (ok, je ne fais pas beaucoup d'efforts) :

As you may have noticed the game has not gone on sale today. We're sorry that it didn't happen as we'd hoped, but we were pushing the limit on our distribution channels

However, I have just spoken with a member of the sales team who assures me that the game will be on sale everywhere by Monday at the very latest. That should include Europe, too.

Some people DO seem to have the game though, as they're showing up on the master server. Weird.

So - again, apologies for whetting your appetites last night, but like I said, it was like shoving an elephant down a drain pipe. Unfortunately, Jumbo is stuck and the rescue team won't get him out until Monday. Your prayers and donations are appreciated.

Infogrames told us that some stores should have copies as early as today. The chains I recall are: BestBuy, EB, Target, Wal*Mart and Gamestop - there might be others but I'm not at my own computer right now so I can't verify the list. From what I understand they can sell it the minute they get it. There is no "street date" for this game - at least not in the USA. I have no idea why they would hold it back in the UK or Europe - that would certainly NOT be our preference.

Quelques rares américains ont donc pu mettre la main sur les 3 CD du jeu. Normalement, UT2003 devrait être disponible aux USA et en Europe dès lundi. Une release en warez traine déjà sur le net mais sans CD-Key vous n'irez pas bien loin.

PC.Ign est le premier site a proposé un test d'UT2003 auquel il attribue 9/10. J'ai hate de voir les stats du jeu d'ici quelques semaines pour voir le verdict des joueurs.
