Avec trois semaines de retard par rapport aux autres sites, PCGameCentral nous pond sa preview basée sur la beta de Vivisector (l'ile du Dr Moreau). L'avantage de leur petit article c'est qu'il n'utilise pas la langue de bois : la beta présente 1h30 de gameplay qui se résume à marcher, tirer, marcher, tirer et le journaliste de PCGC peut témoigner que c'est assez peu intéressant. Par contre, d'après lui le jeu à du potentiel et cette beta plutôt médiocre pourrait évoluer en un FPS tout à fait correct avec un gameplay assez similaire à celui de Doom & Cie :

Overall, my experience with ViViSector has been full of several mixed blessings. I appreciate the cleanliness of the visuals, although they're not mind-blowing in the face of more prominent FPS's. I enjoy the old- school run and gun gameplay, although it can get repetitive and tedious at several points. I admire the game's concept, although it hinders the gameplay at times. What I am trying to get at here is simple: ViViSector: Creatures of Dr. Moreau is certainly a game with plenty of potential; its game design is imaginative and opens the door for limitless possibilities. As far as the beta is concerned, however, ViViSector is a bold attempt that comes up short in many ways. Hopefully, Action Forms can clean up some of the concerns with the time it has left before the product is shipped to retail.
