Gamespy a écrit une preview de C&C:Renegade. Elle tient sur deux pages, résume le concept du jeu et décrit l'aspect multiplayer:

Players have a set number of "free units" such as soldiers and engineers, but as their Tiberium levels increase, they can buy more specialized units such as snipers, rocket soldiers and even characters from the game. Again, the object of the game is destruction of bases so to render a building useless; a player basically goes and sets C4 at the main terminal (each building has one). When the terminal is destroyed, the building is therefore out of the game. When one team's base is completely destroyed, the round is over.
