Bonne nouvelle pour les instagibbers: Clanbase vient d'ouvrir deux ladders pour ce mod Quake3: duel et Team DM. Rappelons qu'instagib est le mod le plus sophistiqué de Quake3. Son concept est extrêmement complexe mais je vais tout de même me risquer à le décrire: respawn avec railgun et AMMO illimitées, un coup au but est fatal.

Wednesday, 31. October, 2001 was a BIG day for all Instagibbers in the Quake 3 Arena community, especially the European part!

Two ladders have been created by the ClanBase (http://www.clanbase.com) people, and they should be accessible by now:
1on1/Duel InstaGib ladder
TDM InstaGib ladder
The rules of the 1on1-ladder was decided upon an IRC meeting held tuesday, at 21.00 on #clanbase.q3ro channel at QuakeNet, and they are as follows:
A 1on1 match is played as a best-of-three-match, each round lasting 5 minutes. If the score is equal by the end of a round, the round will be decided in Sudden Death-mode. There's a 5 minute WarmUp-period, which is Ready-voteable for those who doesnt want to wait that long!
the Maplist is: q3tourney3, pro-q3tourney4, q3dm5, q3dm16, q3dm17, cpm1a

The rules for TDM-InstaGib matches are so far the same as the ClanBase rules for Regular TDM-matches
Maplist for InstaGib TDM ladder is: q3dm6, q3dm7, q3dm14, cpm4, ztn3dm1

The Rules and map-selections will be discussed in about a month's time, so that any incovenient maps can be replaced, and/or new introduced!

As a direct result from this good piece of news, Mappers are encouraged to start making Competetion-oriented RailOnly-maps.

Also, a new All-Things-InstaGib-webportal/hub is needed! This is being looked into at the moment, any suggestions will be HIGHLY appreciated!
