3DA a interviewé Democritus de la devteam de Covert Operations. Covert Ops c'est le mod semi réaliste pour Quake3 actuellement en développement (à ne pas confondre avec Global Ops pour UT comme je l'ai fait hier). Un petit extrait:

Democritus: We won't have a cash system. If you want to compare it to something, better use the Firearms system. Players theoretically have access to everything. That means they could use everything there is, but as we have to balance things out, there are skills (6 different ones, for details check the page). Depending on your skills you can "unlock" some of the better weapons. For example the medium sniper rifle you need an Accuracy of at least 6. Or to add an underslung grenade launcher to your assault rifle you need Technical 5 or higher.
