Planetside Center a interviewé le lead designer de Planetside. Au court des 26 questions on clarifie un peu le projet et on s'apperçoit que les développeurs pensent vraiment à tout pour leur jeu, par exemple à des pseudos cyberguerres à coté des champs où ça mitraille sec :

Mystifier : Q20. [Hacking] "Can a player with good hacking skills counter a hacker? Any possibilities of cyber wars? How about virus deliveries?"

StrykerPS : "There will be some counter-measures based on a hacking. A player can bolster a terminal’s defense (slowing down enemy hackers), or set silent tripwires that will alert the team that owns the facility if an enemy hacker attempts to hastily access their system.

As for hacking enemy terminals, there will be a number of sabotage techniques available."
